Eligibility - All of the following must be satisfied:
• Hold a current ICAO ATPL (A320 family Type Rated) [may apply without an A320 type rating]
• Current Class 1 medical certificate
• Aeronautical Medical Certificates Evaluation Committee Report (If Required)
• ICAO Level 5 English language proficiency;
• Hold, or be otherwise eligible to obtain the relevant Japanese residency status with the right to work in Japan;
• Possess strong and effective team working competencies;
• Be committed to service excellence;
• Flight Experience:
• Flight Time: Minimum 4,000 hrs total time including 3,000 hrs on Jet Aircraft
• PIC: Minimum 1,000 hours of Commercial Jet PIC time.
• Minimum 500 hours on Airbus Fly By Wire aircraft.

JetStar Japan currently has a fleet of 21 Airbus A320s configured for 180 passengers and operates more than 100 flights a day to 17 domestic routes and 9 international routes.
Contracts are for 3 years in length and offer an excellent commuting package with a block of 10 days off per month as a contractual minimum.

Phase one in progress where JJP is currently accepting application from current JCAB ATPL Holders, & IACO ATPL Holders that already have a residency status in Japan.

Phase two is expected in the next few months - expanding to accept applications from all qualified ICAO ATPL Holders.  

*Note: That NTR Captains will have to self fund the cost of a CCQ or A320 TR themselves prior to joining JJP. Conditions for NTR pilots will be the same as for existing NTR FOs whereby they are required to have an A320 endorsed ICAO ATPL 28 days prior to their contracted start date. Training duration for NTR Captains at JJP will be roughly the same as for TR Captains.
